Plant Breeding

Sine 2010, AgXtra has evolved its capacity and service offering to plant breeders in cereals, pulses and oil seed segments. We now offer these services in all regions of SA, VIC and NSW.

Broadacre Crop Protection

The original business was built off the back of our experience working in this segment. In the decades following we have continued to evolve our expertise through growing a dedicated, dynamic team with geographical diversity across SA, VIC and NSW, conducting over 300 trials per year.

Horticultural Crop Protection

Trials are conducted across a broad range of horticultural crops including potatoes, citrus, pome fruit, stone fruit, nuts, small vegetables, fruiting vegetables, wine and table grapes and protected cropping.

Regional coverage is expanding, with sites across South Australia, Victoria and NSW.

Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

Working under Living Farms’ GLP accreditation, AgXtra is now offering GLP-compliant residue field trials for a diverse range of crops, including those in broadacre farming, viticulture, and horticulture. A strong partnership with Affinity Laboratories in Adelaide guarantees that the analytical phase of our GLP studies is conducted with the highest level of precision and quality.
